3 Best Pens Introduced by Graf von Faber Castell

It wasn’t that bad of a year for Graf von Faber-Castell with three of their releases being quite succesful and loved by the public. We’ve surely seen a common thread in the launch of these novelties. A very edgy, dark look. Let’s discover my three favorite launches of Graf von Faber-Castell of 2021.

Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2021 “Knights”

Well, this piece was launched in December 2020, but since we’re talking about the POTY 2021, we will definitely make it count as one of the best releases of the Year. The Knights has surprised pretty much everyone and has found a great feedback from collectors and pen lovers in general. It might be because of the intricate details of the guilloche cap or the beautiful Damascus Steel Barrel. The brown grip section is also surprisingly comfortable in hand and extremely attractive matched to the grey and black tones of the overall pen. Now… we obviously cannot wait to discover the Pen of the Year 2022, which hopefully will be ready between March and April 2022.

Graf von Faber-Castell Perfect Pencil 260th Anniversary

The ones that follow me on Instagram and Youtube probably realized how excited i have been about the Perfect Pencil 260th Anniversary. First of all, i’m a lover and promoter of the Perfect Pencil as an icon of this industry. None other brand has managed to make a “normal” pencil also a luxurious stylish-looking item like Graf von Faber-Castell. This specific edition is a Must because of the slightly redesigned cap, the pencil engravings, and the faceted jade on the top of the cap that reminds to the Jade used for the POTY celebrating the 250th anniversary of the company. In addition to that, limited to 750 pieces and definitely sold out in less than a year. What should i say ladies and gentleman: chapeau to Graf von Faber-Castell for this.

Graf von Faber-Castell Guilloche Black Edition

The Guilloche is known to be an affordable yet stylish collection of Graf von Faber-Castell. The pens range from 195€ for Ballpoints to 365€ the Fountain Pens (with a very soft 18k Gold Nib). With the Black Edition, Graf introduces a new edgy version of the famous Guilloche collection that has been a runner during this end of the year season. Available as Fountain Pen (440€), Rollerball (295€) and Ballpoint (260€) the Black Edition is a great gift for yourself or your loved one.
