A modern looking Black Edition joins Graf von Faber-Castell’s Guilloche series

From watches and furniture to interior design and art, black is and remains one of the most preferred shades and if you’re fond of achromatic colors, you will most likely fall in love with the latest edition added to the Guilloche series.

Given the other significantly coloured versions in the line, the Black Edition is by far the most conventional of them all, so it will find its place in more formal environments. That said, let’s discover it together…

Like the other previous collections, this one is also composed of three writing instruments – a fountain pen, a rollerball and a ballpoint pen. In terms of design, each pen is beautifully adorned with the already popular guilloche, a subtle pattern finely engraved on a rich black precious resin. You are probably familiar with this technique, which is widely used to decorate luxury watches or jewelleries. What makes this edition special compared to the others in the line is the metal parts, which are covered with a PVD titanium coating for a guaranteed all-black look.

The fountain pen is equipped with a handmade 18k gold nib with ruthenium coating available in four different widths: extra fine, fine, medium and broad and to fill up the pen you can use either cartridges or a converter. If you are already used to the other guilloche pens, you will instantly notice the same level of comfort on this edition.

Ballpoint: € 260.00
Rollerball: € 295.00
Fountain Pen: € 440.00

Now, there’s one more thing we want you to think about: what would you pair this pen with? We would see it on a black wooden desk, but it, but it will also look amazing paired with a nice dress watch.
