ELBWOOD to Reveal Its 2026 Collection in a Two-Hour Livestream

Elbwood, the small Hamburg-based pen maker, has spent the past months developing a new line-up for 2026, soon to be revealed. I remember reading on the brand’s website back in 2025 that it would temporarily stop taking new orders in order to focus on fulfilling existing commissions and preparing its upcoming collection. For me, that was a clear sign that something special was in the works.

The brand has built its reputation on craftsmanship and writing experience, two cornerstones it has remained loyal to with every pen it creates. That consistency is what I find most admirable about Frank Pressentin’s approach. As Elbwood’s founder, he brings an unusual level of patience and respect to each piece that leaves the workshop – from the earliest stages of production all the way to the final steps, many of which are carried out by hand. This approach also translates into longer delivery times, something clients often note, but rarely complain about, given the level of care that goes into each writing instrument.

“Easily the best experience buying I could have hoped for, and the pen is truly exceptional, both for its craftsmanship, writing quality, and the story behind it,” one user wrote about Elbwood.

For now, no concrete information about the 2026 collection has been disclosed. Still, a line published on the brand’s website – “In reduction lies the courage of truth” – offers a hint at the direction Elbwood may be taking.

More recently, pen expert Samuel Naldi announced on Instagram that Elbwood’s 2026 line-up will be revealed during a two-hour YouTube livestream in Switzerland, with Frank Pressentin traveling from Hamburg to present the collection in person. The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, starting at 18:00 CET, and will give enthusiasts the opportunity to see the new pens first-hand and engage directly with the hosts.

That being said, those interested can mark their calendars and click here to join the livestream.
