Mémoire: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Love Letter to the Analog World

As the pace of daily life grows ever faster, more and more people are seeking out refuge in things that slow them down or simply make life feel purposeful. It’s an instinct that comes naturally to most, and a calling for those who feel they have something meaningful to offer the world. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is one of those people. The model and entrepreneur recently launched Mémoire, a brand built around exactly that idea – slowing down, and taking life’s simpler pleasures a bit more seriously.

Mémoire: A Love Letter to the Analog World

For Huntington-Whiteley, Mémoire feels less like a business venture and more like a personal manifesto: a curated world, I’d say more of a museum than a shop, built around objects she has collected, cherished, and now naturally wants others to discover.

“I’ve always been drawn to objects that hold meaning and things that have been lived with, rather than simply owned,” she tells Vogue. “I’m one of those people that collects all birthday cards, all my children’s drawings. These are the kind of things that really inspired this idea of objects holding memories.”

The Mémoire universe unfolds across four distinct worlds – Love Birds, High Castle, Glass Lake, and Secret Garden – each expressed through color, texture, and scent. The strictly limited collection places journals and stationery at its core, extending into scented candles, leather goods, luggage tags, and picture frames.

“To write something down is to give it meaning, truth, a life of its own,” reads the notebooks section – a gentle reminder of why any of this matters. All the leather goods, including the notebook covers, are crafted in a family-owned atelier in Lombardy, Italy, where a team of 60 artisans works across every stage of production, from dyeing to hand finish.

The Devon Leather Notebook – the collection’s first journal offering – is available in both Classic and Grand sizes, made from full-grain Italian pebbled calf leather that develops a rich patina over time, so it can carry your memories wherever life takes you. Each notebook is finished with contrast stitching and palladium hardware for an added touch of refinement. Inside, 100 premium-weight lined pages are designed for reflection, correspondence, and daily ritual. Once filled, the refillable interior can simply be replaced with a new insert.

Designed as a continuation of the Devon Leather Notebook, the refill renews the ritual of the written page and allows its leather cover to be used for years to come.

The stationery sets follow the same philosophy and are available in four designs, each inspired by one of the four worlds mentioned earlier. I find the High Castle set particularly charming, with its bespoke illustration featuring an antique brooch alongside envelope liners adapted from an original Lyonnais damask pattern – imagine one of these landing in someone’s post. Each set is crafted from premium Crane cotton paper with a soft finish that recalls the intimacy of traditional correspondence. Available in sets of 10, 25, or 50 correspondence cards, they are designed to be written thoughtfully, kept carefully, and treasured for years to come.

As time irreversibly passes, memory is often all we have left, and Mémoire is simply a reminder that it is worth preserving. Whether you’re documenting your days or corresponding with the people you care about, there is now a place to do both with intention.
