The decision to integrate this color into the design01 was not about following trends; it was a deliberate choice to infuse this iconic pen with a touch of contemporary elegance and timeless sophistication. The soft, muted tones of Peach Fuzz lend a sense of tranquility and warmth to the pen, inviting users to embrace moments of creativity and inspiration with every stroke. Before that, there wasn’t much chromatic diversity in the series and I like to see Otto Hutt starting to integrate vivid colors. I’m sure that users will be delighted as well.
The barrel and cap are made of high-quality brass, with the barrel coated several times in a rich apricot matt lacquer. The cap sleeves shine in matt ruthenium, while the fittings are polished and also coated with ruthenium. I have seen these pens live and the color is truly unique. On top of that, the contrast between the ruthenium matte elements and the peachy matte lacquer is excellent.
The edition is available in three versions of writing instruments: ballpoint pen, rollerball and fountain pen, and can already be ordered on the manufacturer’s website.
