Montegrappa ‘Right To Play’ Solidarity Edition

In addition to producing incredible writing instruments, Montegrappa has always shown an interest in making the world a better place by getting involved in numerous humanitarian, environmental and conservation projects.

Among the many causes the renowned Italian brand has been involved in over the years are the recent Wild Arctic and Right To Play. While Wild Arctic focuses on the environment, the latter aims to provide children in disadvantaged regions with more education and protection, supporting the mission led by the eponymous organisation.

Under the motto “Protect. Educate. Empower.”, Right To Play has been implementing its unique, play-based learning programmes in communities and schools worldwide for over 20 years helping children around the world overcome the effects of war, poverty and disease. And how better to support the organisation’s efforts on making the world a better place than by launching a special edition?

The new edition comes on a ZERO chassis with a beautiful custom blend of Montegrappite resin and black steel trim bearing the Right To Play’s ingenious “shirtball” logo on the cap’s finial. The edition is available as a fountain pen with steel or 14k gold nib and cartridge/converter filling system, rollerball or ballpoint pen.

According to Montegrappa, the proceeds from purchases will support Right To Play’s efforts: helping it engage with communities, education ministries, teachers and children in regions of Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America. Prices start at € 490 for the ballpoint pen and go up to € 870 for the 14k nib fountain pen.
