Montblanc’s Brand Ambassadors Over The Years

As a renowned luxury brand, Montblanc has, over the years, brought some pretty impressive names to the forefront of their editorial campaigns. The broad appeal of the brand has meant that movie stars, athletes, and DJ’s have all enjoyed the spotlight in various campaigns over the years. Such figures have included Johnny Depp, Hugh Jackman, Cillian Murphy, Peggy Gou, Spike Lee, Chen Kun, Taron Egerton, and Zinedine Zidane, whom we covered last year.

While the list of recent brand ambassadors may seem a bit incongruous, that, surely, is on purpose. By broadening the list of ambassadors to various corners of the creative industry, it shows the depth – and breadth – of the brand. And not only that, it also brings new prospective eyes to the German brand.

But what do each of these ambassadors have in common? Well, for one, unabashed creativity. Each ambassador listed above has excelled in their respective industry while also being a polymath in their own right. From Depp’s painting to Jackman’s multi-hyphenate career in theatre and film, each one has shown us that a creative life is worth pursuing.

But not only that, these ambassadors also represent the zeitgeist in their own way. Many of the editorial stars have pushed the limit of their careers and have shown that hard work and a dedication to craft have paid off handsomely. Whether in football or on the turntables, we have seen that a career built on passion can bring not only worldwide success, but happiness.

And that, at the end of the day, is what Montblanc’s legacy has hinged upon for a century. By marrying creativity with excellence, the possibilities are limitless. Montblanc’s ambassadors aren’t just recognizable faces on a billboard, but a reminder that talent comes in all shapes and sizes – and is within each of us, too.
