As you already know, Otto Hutt announced its novelties for 2022 last week in a very unique Live broadcast and we were very excited to watch it. More than that, we even thought how interesting it would be to see similar presentations from other brands in the industry. Who knows, maybe in the future…
In today’s article we take a look at each model and discover what makes them special. New colours, new patterns and bold approaches, that’s how we would describe the new editions launched by Otto Hutt. Before we get to each of them, one thing is for sure, you will instantly fall in love with the new design08 editions.
design01
Not much has changed in terms of the design01 line and its timeless character, but the existing models have been joined by three new editions: dark blue, green and black all coated with ruthenium. For an interesting contrast, we noticed that Otto Hutt has created a beautiful interweaving of matt and gloss finishes for these editions.

design03
As for the popular design03, the German brand has chosen two ultra-modern shades that evoke a clean aesthetic: platinum gray and ruthenium gray. Made of solid brass, each model is then coated with platinum or ruthenium depending on the finish. Given the simplistic design and colour scheme we think these editions will be a real delight for minimalism enthusiasts.

design04
Over the years design04 has become one of the most loved lines for those who appreciate classic and unique designs. It is probably the line with the most varied patterns and now it has been enriched with four more shades in a beautiful matte finish: platinum, rose gold, yellow gold and ruthenium. It’s not hard to see that the German brand likes to keep things simple and we all know that it’s often the simple things that inspire us the most.

The design07 line also expands with 2 editions, one more spectacular than the other and we’re talking about a special edition where the star is a finely engraved guilloché and an all black edition which has such a mysterious flair we can’t wait to explore. If for the special edition Otto Hutt kept the 925 sterling silver body, the black edition is made of solid brass coated with high-quality PVD, a perfect contrast between matte surfaces and polished parts. Even the nib – made of 18k gold – on the black edition is PVD coated in deep black.
The Special Edition is available from April 2022 while the all black edition is available from October 2022.
design08
The line that bears the imprint of star designer Mark Braun, design08 has been refined with two bold editions: gold and black that will complement and reinforce the already iconic anthracite grey model. While the rich black edition exudes elegance, the noble gold-plating on the gold version stands for a timeless and exclusive style that will definitely be remembered.
